Hello everyone. my neighbor bought me a Bonsai tree yesterday because i've always wanted one. only problem is i am not sure how to care for one. So I have a few questions.
1. what type of tree did she buy me?
2. should i re-pot it with new soil since i dont know how long its been in there
3. about how old do you think it is
4. how should I water it, and take care of basic needs it might have.

Buy a book and read how to look after it

Make sure you keep this outside. All The Time. Otherwise it will die. Junipers do not like constantly wet roots. Make sure the substrate dries out a bit between watering.

Read up on bonsai if you want to grow bonsai. At the moment this is a young juniper that ddoes not qualify as a bonsai yet.
