I have ńever made it with guitar so trying hard now with penjings you know ?
Actually, more appropriate would be "MAD" - organizing event here in Slovakia at my expenses not knowing if people would sign up for it isn´t the brightest idea.
From my experiences from bands from around here I know people are getting more and more lazy going to gigs...and recently at national exhibition we had 3 world renowned bonsai artists doing demos for 2 days and just 2-3 people actually came not counting passers by. And it was for free.
So - MAD it is.
But even if not much people come - meeting Harry and spending few days with him would surely be very educative and watching him work and teach...oh man, I cannot wait I got quite a few trees that need a nice carving and I am not able to do it properly myself yet.

Very nice step to take. Hope a lot of people sign up!
If not, you will get lots of one-on-one time with hime (Which I am betting you would get anyway!) and your trees will look amazing afterwards!
Info regarding workshop:
Everyone could bring 1 to 3 trees that Harry will consult and help to style/carve.
The idea and aim is such that every participant should leave with at least one tree styled from each day.
Facebook event will be created where people who signed up may upload pics of trees they intend to bring and Harry will comment on it´s suitability for workshop and instructing what one can do beforehand on them to save time.
Lunch will be served and drinks will be at hand.
After the workshop on saturday we will move across the road to a local pub (owned by another bonsai enthusiast) for a few beers and chat with Harry
So far 3 people enrolled, so there are still 9 available places if anyone is interested.
For anyone who would like to sign up but doesn´t have a tree for the workshop, our club leader is offering some of his yamadoris for sale at the workshop for discount prices.
First of them is this spruce nidiformis for 300 euros.
