My Carmona bonsai tree has suddenly gathered these very minute, black and white coloured insects on them. The plant is still growing well but they're multiplying and looking very disturbing...how do I get rid of them. Please help!

I think they're aphids (or greenfly/blackfly as they're sometimes called). Just last night, I washed my a chilli plant's leaves with dilute dish soap and water to get rid of them. Try this and see if it works :)

Doesn't exactly sound like the safest thing to do.....any more suggestions? I'll try this if there's nothing else available

soap and spiritus (rubbing alcohol) in water. Drench the above-soil part of the tree e.g., with a sprayer.
