Tiny black spots was created by Daniel-san

Hello,

I am currently growing wisteria. I have noticed today that there are several very small black spots somewhat randomly on some of the leaves and stems that stand out from the green. They are very small, no bigger than this full stop . and probably smaller than that to be honest.
Some of them feel smooth to the stem/leaf, and one or two feel like tiny bumps.
I have read that sometimes certain mites or insects can look this way, but if it was those they would come off if rubbed or scratched lightly, this is not the case though.

Just a bit lost as to what it could be? and if I should be worried? or what I could do about it?

Thanks for any help.

Unless you are in the southern hemisphere your wisteria should be leafless and dormant now . So i assume you are keeping them inside which is a recipy for all kinds of problems, diseases, pests and death of the tree sooner or later.
Apart from that- a picture would help.

Are you in northern or southern hemisphere?

Most of us is in northern and it is winter now. If that is the case your main concern should be that the tree hasent shed its leafs yet. This is a decidious tree that needs dormancy in winter. Black spots on the leafs are just a secondary problem.

It only sprouted from the seed in mid January, so i assumed the leaves were just due to it being new. they have started to die off thought it seems.
Ive not spotted any pests or anything, just these tiny black dots on the stem and some of the leaves. Its stopped growing, which i also assumed would be normal for this time of year.
