thanks Geoff, yes the waxy leaves hang on! but its not going to chuck out anything new this year even if it recovers.
Hopefully the roots will revcover over the fall with some propper drainage and substrate/soil to move into. - and rid of the infestation!

I know some who re pot in the autumn, deciduous trees only. I have not Tried  it yet, only Chojobai but around end of October.
