Mealy bugs are eating my desert rose down to nothing!!! I diluted rubbing alcohol with water and applied yesterday. Whats the dilution? How often do I apply. Is there other solutions that work better or are safer for plants? Plant is in a pot with a "speckboom" (succulent) will the mealys go after it to?

Yes the mealy bugs will go after the speckboom, i found a few on mine just after I had brought it. I simple killed them all by hand as soon as I noticed them. Im not so sure about the rubbing alcohol dilution, but i have heard that it works. good luck
