Hi Everyone, my name is Aislinn and this is my first foray into Bonsai. I recently acquired a gorgeous Ficus and along with it came what I believe could be fungus?
I may be wrong. Please feel free to point it out.
I have no access to great insecticides or fungicides at the moment (but I've already ordered online). I was hoping someone could give me quick homemade solutions that can hamper/clean/solve this problem. My environment is: I live in an apartment, 17flr, quite humid, temperatures are between 30-35 celsius, partial sun. The white growth only occurs on the leaves (top and underside), not on branches or roots.
I APPRECIATE ANY INPUT! I've attached photos!

Thank you
The whole potted Bonsai was perched on a rock when I got it. It was there for actually 8 years aven rooted itself on the rock We had to pry it out. The white splotches (resembling paint spatter) doesn't come off when i wipe it. But when I use my finger nails it does. I've been snipping off infected leaves every few days but it just doesn't seem to get rid of it!
It is quite a healthy tree. So am thinking this pest is rather harmless (but am not sure how it would be long termed). I will grab my DSLR and do a focus shot.
