Good evening All,
I have recently purchased an indoor 12 years old bonsai tea tree.

Shortly after buying it, I realized that there were some kind of little white buds of fluffy/ cotton-like consistency that were all over the tree including the leaves, the trunk.

Additionally, some of the leaves are very glossy and sticky.
Not sure if it’s related as it’s not the same consistency but the soil is also full of little white dots that can be brushed off.
It’s not endemic yet but I’m a little bit concerned since I got it about a month ago and wouldn’t want it to get worse.

I paid attention not over-watering it – but this was already there when I got the tree anyway.

Not sure what to do, any advise on what it could be/ what I could do?
