Hi, I've been growing a Red Maple (Acer Redrum) from seed. Its starting to get a disease on leaves (shown in photos ). Does anyone know how I can stop this??? Answers will be greatly appreciated!

I've been growing my Red Maple ( Acer Rubrum) bonsai's in a very small greenhouse on my balcony in London for about 5-6 months. Its been a a little more hot recently so I'm thinking that the extra heat and moisture of the greenhouse has done this? I've now taken both plants inside. The plants are in pots that drain so they are not water logged. The disease starts with white dots and also tiny brown patches. Then it grows and leafs slowly get more brown yellow.

First, it should not be inside, yes it has bee warm, and that may have contributed, but being inside is not a good idea. Watering might well be the main cause as in lack of. The plant will be losing its leaves very soon anyway so it is not something to worry about. It is cultural not a disease. And stood inside that pot is a bit strange also.

You rplant is suffering from spide mite and possibly thrips. Look both pest up. Fighting themtypically include some type of pesticide spray, and improving the care (Such as bringing it outside, making sure it gets wind and rain)
