Even if its not the best NPK ratio? I mean I don't do big mistake if I feed 5-2-2 NPK in fall?
Officially it should be P-K only in fall, but I don't care. I use what I have, even if it is not the 'correct' NPK ratio.
The idea is that you should not have a high N as then the plant will grow too much and the new growth will not harden off in time.
That's a myth.
