I've been trying to get into bonsai for a while, and got this plant with that intention.. It didn't last long enough, but I figured people here would probably know what's going on with it as you all have more experience than I do.

As with any information on the internet. I found sites that advised pulling juvenile (boxwood) plants in for the winter, and others that said to cover it with burlap outside. Given my plant was on a 3rd floor balcony during a New England winter, I figured I'd pull it in (apparently the wrong choice).

Insulate the roots an cross your fingers, and yes, keep them outside......
Does your balcony face north :ohmy:

This.

My first impression was water.... looks like it dried out and died. Box's are very hardy, no need to bring inside or wont't do well
