hey guys so I'm new to this forum and fairly new to bonsai. i hate to say that i have killed a few trees but i like to tell myself its all part of learning for the best. one that died on me due to a disease (pseudomonas syringe) was my 8yr old japanese red maple, man it was beautiful. so since then i have been trying to read as much as i can and watch video to further my education on bonsai. so i said why not post here.
well heres a long term project i have going on. i picked up this deep purple bougainvillea at a local nursery for $6, when i saw the tree something really caught my attention. after looking at it a home i kinda pictured a little something and drew it up. lol
any tips would really help. i plan on putting it in a different pot this late winter for the growing season but don't know what kind of pot to use since i have been reading that these are very sensitive to their root system or if thats even a good time to repot. if anyone has any ideas on styling i open to any ideas.
