Nice work Hein! wow that is looking fantastic what an improvement
Thanx for that nice reply man. I deeply apologize for my disappearance. Things went bad quick, but its all better now. I apologize to the other members as well.
The tree is coming along very nicely and its filling out nice. Its just growing a bit slow for my liking. I had to cut back the top cause it grew wild for a tad bit.

No problem. The web is not an 'need to attend' kind-a thing. Hope whatever went bad didn't give you too many problems. Good to hear things are better now!

I will post pics tomorrow when I get chance.
That would be awesome! I love it when people show progressions over long periods of time! And as for growing too slow.. Aren't all trees too slow growing when developing? Just remember: once you have the basic structure of the tree, and the foliage is filling up, you actually WANT to growth to slow to a crawl
Leatherback, not to much but enough to keep me occupied for a LONG time
The tree also had a bit of a bump in the road. I forgot to label my spray bottles and accidentally sprayed the plant with (a container that wasnt rinsed out) weed killer.
The tree was hurt and a lot of growth died. I honestly thought that it was gonna die, but thank goodness it survived. It is showing beautiful new growth which i love but ! branch is still far behind.

As for the tree being sprayed with herbicide.. It seems to do well for a recently almost killed plant. I cannot read what you wrote next to the small sprout at the bottomg. I suppos eyou will let that grow out and use as a sacrifice branch?
this looks to be a good parent tree to develope branches into eventual trees. i have done this on my large ficus. i trained the unwanted branches and rooted them ...instant tree
