Picked this stump up from a load of rubble that had been fly tipped in Rainhill Merseyside 12/03/2019, I potted it in a plastic container as soon as I got it home as it still had a good rootball.
In the pictures you can see the cut marks on the trunk (the stick is my preferred front) and picture of the back, the hack marks on the roots and the branches cut off, I put the sticky silver aluminium foil over the cuts to help preserve moisture and aid recovery (I read about this method on the net apparently a Japanese Bonsai master uses it on his cuts instead of paste).
The nebari is approximately 16cm across, also included are photos of the foliage remaining and two crude drawings of proposed styles (if it survives the winter), my preferred choice is picture one 1. We have a long way to go with this tree about 4 years I reckon before any work can be done (apart from pruning) I will post update when any work is carried out.

Any Juniper with little or no roots will not survive
