I am soooo frustrated, mine did not bloom at all, so no flowers or berries this season...
Maybe because I have repotted it at the wrong time? Oh, well...

thats a bummer. In working with this tree i have noticed they are picky. these really dont like to be moved around, if i move its location even by 5 feet about 30% of the leaves yellow and drop off, when i rotate it throughout the year i get about a dozen leaves yellow up and drop off.
i didnt get any flowers nor berries last year and i think it has to do with its location and climate change after bringing it home (i assume). i do know Pyracantha do not like root-disturbance as it can impede flower production.

i have some mixed feelings on how this tree is progressing. All tho im happy with how this is turning out i have one section on this tree i cant figure out what to do. as you can see it has come a long way in just a little over a year that i have picked it up. ive performed some hard pruning of course with the help of people on this forum especially Clicio and LB. now im not sure if i want to start all over and chop this thing but the mid section of the tree i feel keeps grabbing my attention cause its just to straight. the tree doesn't look to bad when its foliage is dense but when i prune its an eye sore or am i just being to picky. thoughts? on a good note after a little over a year with the tree i can finally see what color berries it has, looks to be orange im very excited!!!

hm.. It is straight. However.. I do not find it distracting. Then again.. I am told my Yin are always too straight and an eyesore. Maybe I am a person that likes contrasts..

well,
woke up this morning to find my pyracantha got eaten up by something overnight. i have no clue what it could have been but i am super bummed out as this is the first year the tree grew berries since i owned it. first picture was 1 month ago and second picture is this morning.

well guys since the tree was eaten by a rodent (i assume) it has just declined and dropped all leaves. most branch tips have turn black and died off. so i guess its safe to say it a goner. ill still keep up with it through out spring but im sure its gone.
