Yesterday I did a full day workshop specifically aimed at preparation of the national new talent bonsai styling competition in which I am participating this summer.
Aim of the competition is to -in 4 hrs- style a small juniper to an as-finished looking bonsai as possible. Slowly honing my skills and getting to a point that I am comfortable doing this process alone. And gained some great tips (DO not style for the future, but for now!) Note: The before is from one of the left-over trees, as I forgot to take a before. But from looks it was the same tree.

Well, I know you are not asking for comments, but I will:
Nice material and excellent styling! It's good when one finds the tree inside the bush, isn't it?
