Spent some time wiring and styling a juniper itoigawa which came from Italy..

I have only wired primary branches and not much of the detail so far. I feel that the apex can be improved. I'm not sure if it's a little too flat/ no lines or division between areas? And then some areas with gaps rather than one fairly full and standard top.

If maybe the left side should be lower? It still needs improvement so I am very much open to any advice.

Also, any pot experts who have a suggestion for a pot in the future? I really struggle in this area!

Any advice welcome.

Mssive difference!

I understan why you have left a lot of the original foliage on. Yet.. If I look at it.. I wonder..

Tilt, trim, compact?

I like that leatherback. Didn't even think of it being more compact. And yes the tilt definitely gives more movement and a nice line! Youve got me thinking for the future.

Yes, I barely removed any foliage. I'll be honest I had about 90 minutes free from the children so I was a little short on time. . I've screenshot your image to keep in mind for the future.

Thanks.
