one of my favorite trees is the larch.
This one I styled some weeks ago, put it in a large pot and now we're waiting for spring to come

Wiring looks very good. Good start with shaping it too. Looking forward to the pictures you will make in spring :)

It start to look like a tree, new growth pinched back, still not sure witch site would become the front

its starting to look good. i personally like number 2. i seems as you get more feel of the movement in the trunk at the mid to top section.

This winter 4 branches died off. No clear idea why, but it is still a nice tree.

Larch drops branches when they get too little light. The branches above it probably shaded them out too much.
