leatherback wrote: Congratulations Mimo. Finally someone recognizes publicly that you are a grand master in bonsai development.

I love how people have absolutely no insight in building bonsai, and make it so blatantly obvious.

Take it with a shrug and a smile. Realize you have MUCH better insight in potential of raw stock than 95% of the people I see growing bonsai.

What??? This is not a proof I am a grand master??? :D :D :D
Of course Jelle, all I can do is smile :)
I like what I am doing and comments like these show me that I am on a good way :)
But I have no aspirations to become a GRAND MASTER :silly:
Just to create nice trees.

The fastest way to being a grand master is by just creating -ever better- nice trees. Sorry to disappoint

Mimo we are the Bonsai Empire.
FB is the kingdom of the idiots.

But... You are right, take it as a compliment! Congrats!

@ LucR - haha :woohoo:
@ Clicio - cheers mate.
To make sure everyone got my point - I took as a compliment the fact that the guy cannot believe the styled tree is the same as raw material pictured there, that it is really created from :) That compliments the transformation :)
The last sentence there is just an opinion of a guy who doesn´t know as much about bonsai as he thinks he does

Nah, only 95% of the people doing bonsai are wondering. The rest knows
