I have tried loripetalum a couple of times and killed them every time. Are they particularly hard to put in a pot? They grow everywhere here so the climate must be OK.
Ivan, I have overpotted it and it grew so vigorously that now it fits well in this pot.
I guess they need space for the roots to grow. I have 2 of them in deeper pots, and they are doing very well.
