Ideas for problem cedar

I dug up a young deodar cedar that was struggling in the shade under its parent. It's done great this spring and summer and has put out a lot of new growth. However, after years of growing in the shade it's very leggy and gangly. I know deodar cedar isn't the best suited for bonsai, but it was free and it would be a fun project. I was thinking of maybe trying out a literati style and wiring it into a more interesting shape. A Cascade style might also work. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I would go for literati, even knowing it will take many years to be a convincing one.
Starting now, trim and prune the branches to leave no scars on the trunk, don't let the cuts swell when callous over, do the radical bends while it is still young, don't be obsessed with taper, have fun!
