Here is an azalea that was growing beside my house when we moved in about 1986. Last spring I dug it up and put it in a large tub with lots of dirt from around it. The first picture was about 4:00. The other two were about 5:45. I am not sure which side will be front, but it was getting pretty dark and I was cold and wet, so I will worry about front tomorrow.

There is a lot of shaping to do, but it will wait for daylight. In fact, it will probably wait until after flowering.

The step brother sitting beside it was a boxwood growing about 20 yards/meters away. I dug it up three years ago and put it in the pot last year. The two of them are at least 40 years old apiece and probably 50 years.

Latest picture.

Once the flowering is over there will be some trimming. Also, some carving on the dead wood. I don't think a lot of pruning this year, but I will get rid of some suckers and other obvious stuff.
