Ahhh...yes. Thank you for explaining, Keith. When one cuts the branch end to the next internode, that stops the branch from growing in length, right?...and forces new secondary and tertiary branches to grow back on the branch, otherwise known as ramification?

You're not nuts nor do you sound silly. I fondly remember those days when I would bath my two wee ones in the kitchen sink...it was much easier on the back than bending over the bathtub! My two wee ones are now 26 and 30...sigh...time for some grandkids, I'd say!

an update is coming soon i did a root prune but lost the pics :S she is sitting a little higher in the pot now.last weekend i started work on the lowest branch,i did some wedge cuts and really torqued it to one side...the begining of the branch was just too straight, boring and ageless.as for the rest i have some major decisions ... chop or not to chop :pinch:. the branches are growing too long and loosing there aged apperance

Very nice bonsai, with very sexy roots you've got there ;)
Do you think some of those roots were grafted on?

its finnaly getting some shape .the one side that was new growth is filling in nicely

Do you think some of those roots were grafted on?

not really the trunk has a bad side that is half its thickness from one veiw that would have been fixed with that technique... i have considered a couple thread grafts to remedy the problem
