i decided to stratify and plant a few of my kids apple seeds.
firstly i'm aware apples are not true to type so it could be anything these become. (but i love em anyway)
I have tried to find crap apples where i live (adelaide australia) and have had zero success.
I decided to keep 3 in total after raising them
i have one i'm letting grow out before i decide what to do with it, one i cut one down recently and already the leaves are now 1/4 the size. not much movement but i'm working on where to go next.
The last one i have given a crazy spiral, no idea why it just looked fun.
These are all the same age.
i will post maybe start of next season to show progress.
