got my first nursery stock .. gonna be a few days before I get a feel for her. I like the natural curve she already has. I will look at the roots in about a week, make sure she ain't root bound -- put her in a bigger pot to encourage growth.

looks pretty big, im not sure what kind of style you going for. I would probably chop it by the 2nd pair of parallel branches and keep one of them as a new leader as an informal upright style. I don't know much about the plant species, but im looking forward to seeing the spring growth

I did cut by the second set of branches and put it in a bigger pot. It has green leaves on it now and some buds ready to burst.
I will post new pics once that happens.
