G'day from Australia, mate I would seriously reconsider the drainage holes for your pot. It is to my understanding that not too many species will enjoy not having adequate drainage.

Ficus can deal with wet feet very well, as long as they re used to it. Grew a ficus to 3m tall in 2 years in my office by having it sit in a tray with water & nutrients

its been almost two weeks since my last progression update and now my ficus has recovered from last pruning. The tree already grow new brunch...i remove my first wiring due to brunch growth that may cause wounds and scar even thow thoes brunch are not totally formed...

haha i did not check....ok if you can see from the last photo the clearer one there are about 7 main brunches but now there are only 6 left i cut the top brunch becouse it doesnt pruduce new leaves..what i want is that brunch be the head of the top...what i did is replace it by another brunch..just figuer it out...

here are the pics....im having problem with wiring, bonsai wire are not available in our location. Wiw its so hard to use improvice...after this wiring i'll let the tree to grow im looking forward for thick and more bigger thrunk..this tree is only 1.5ft tall from the bottom of the rock to the top while the trank 3/4inch thick.

just noticed you asked me this...check out "ficus retusa" in the progresssions i also have some rooted cutting i posted in there too

growth update...the tree grow new brunch i have to get midnight shot to get a clearer image...i cant take more shots..poeple here think that someone is freak doing bonsai. Specialy taking picture on plant without reason. About bonsai? dah! People here are eliterate and ignorant about it. Its not papular here specialy bonsai forum, hmmp thats why.

I take pictures all the time of my trees, day and night. My neighbors think I'm crazy already. Their garage is probably the most photographed garage in the state. haha
