This is my Brazilian Rain Tree, I bought it in june last year. It was a cutting and is kinda spindley. Actually my wife wanted it. LOL
I almost lost it over the holidays. Had to move it away from the patio door, and it lost almost all of it's leaves. When I put it back it exploded to what the pic shows now.

I keep most of my plants on a window sill all winter. The only thing you have to make sure of is that the leaves don't touch the window. I have never lost a plant during winter.
You probably know this now but most indoor plants need to be kept away from any direct heat source or any cold drafts.
It's good to see this was a lesson learned without the death of a tree.
I really like it, brazilian rain trees are nice species, they don't grow here, but I've seen various 'masterpieces' of brazilian rain tree bonsai from Nacho Marin and Robert Steven, they're both great bonsai artist living in the tropical climates
