Relax, it was just a joke. I'm sure you'll take great care not to hurt anyone, and i'm also sure you'll be able to turn this monster into a great tree. It has a lot of potential.
Why do people, in general, think all other people are unskilled idiots.
Lol. Naturally, there is a truth to it, that generally, people are unskilled idiots who with luck don't kill themselves
A prof I worked with used to train people in chainsaw security & forrestry. Yet he spent 6 months on crutches due to a stupid mistake when cutting trees in his own backyard.
Also small electric chansaws cut wood and may cut muscle and bone. Just be carefull, is all.
my opinion on this, since that the tree is newly repot why dont you give it a time to recover and do the whole curving in one session the point of this is to asure the healt of the tree. That tree is just like as human we would take the whole toture in one session than take it slowly. And also wet wood is more softer than drywood.
Vnolen: yup somehow he fell and dropped the saw on his leg at full throttle.
Leatherback: I didn't mean that electric is totally safe, they teld to bind and stop where gas will usually power thru and maybe jump. People without common sence shouldn't be allowed to use shape things.
Cleaner: I'm guessing it will take 40-60 hours of constant carving from start to finish. Each step will take a lot of time to do, so why not let it rest and recover? While a tree is resting good things are happening. I do get what you are saying though.
wow thats a lot of time" can you tell as what exactly the stractor of the deadwo0d? Are you going to make it halow or you just get the bark ang make some artistic deadwood curve?
Deadwood curving make the tree prone to dehydration make sure that the tree already have a complex root that can suport the process jast acurding to may observation.
