beautiful job. in my opinion that low branch should stay it balances the tree.its you tree and your call tho

Love the before and after photos. I very much like the future cuttings. Are you sure about the low angle on the new lower branch in the future photo though? Perhaps tilt it a bit up to make the composition more balanced?

I would keep the lower branch, but that's just my opinion
