Want to share with you this tree I have, Acer Palmatum. Imported 4/5 years ago and is around 15-20 years. (so around my age! :))

I'll post some more pictures once the buds have opened!

Youri, that's a really nice looking tree you got there. I am looking for a good specimen to play with but its harder to find than I thought.

Have a few Trident Maples in the ground ready for training as soon as spring arrives. Talking about spring, that tree of yours probably looks great during spring and Autumn ???

Always wonderful to see trees changing color or getting new leafs

Acers are my favorite so far. The one I have is pretty wimpy right now and only about 5-6 years according to my guess. Im pretty jealous of you. ;) Beautiful!

Thanks all, yes it will take 5-6 years or even more to develop the ramification further and to improve the nebari on the left side of the trunk. But I am very happy with it already.

Yes Hein, it is. Every season it has a different look, that's what make an Acer such great trees! And the color differs in every variety.

As soon as the buds have opened, I'll make more pictures!

The branch that is crossing the front needs to come off, otherwise it is a nice tree.
