last year i potted an ilex shrub into a new pot and good bonsaisoil. this year i repotted the tree again to moyogi with the hopes of improving it, because the tree didnt look like much first.
now im still not confident about the tree. it doesnt have much taper or very intresting truks.

so im wondering if anyone have tips on style?

the style is there it just needs to grow.the trunks look aged at their current size so you need to consentrate on branch development. id say 5 years should give good results

Will it grow much in that little pot? Maybe if you want to make a small bonsai?
