I realized that I have not posted many trees on the english forum of bonsaiempire. So here goes..

Early 2012 I got a stock-standard olive from the garden-centre. What drew me was a slight bluge at the base. After spending a year looking at it, repotting it to lift the roots higher, and removing a lot of the surface roots, brinbging out a bigger part of the bulge etc. this is the image, of june 2013.

After not getting any backbudding, I decided to just go brutal and chopped the top off last summer:

And a year later, a bit of carving a light wire and some pruning, this is where I am at today..

Impressive - I bought an olive tree some years ago, not for bonsai, but I'm still waiting for olives...patiently of course!

LOL,
Except for one - a flowering cherry, which has moved into the garden- none of the other plants are still in my posession. I gave all of them away, as I though they did not have enough potential. :cheer:

hehe, scale fools.. The pot is only a 15cm pot, I think. It is therefor only maybe a 10cm base :D

Thx though

Slowly developing. Taking it slow with this one. And in winter it loses the leaves. Which is slow.
