Really very sad about this loss Leatherback.
I was impressed on how you had managed to thicken and shape its trunk in just 3 years (within a pot).

That makes me think that, after killing a couple of my little trees (mallsais, thanks God) last summer, despite the automated watering, I will take my 3 best trees (the Juniper, a J. Maple and an Olive) to a pension in a well-known bonsai centre during summer holidays.

Has anybody ever tried doing this way?
