When I talk someone about my new hobby "Bonsai" , I beware that people understand it as Bonzai... But I'm trying to teach my close environment this little difference.
I don't want to buy ready Bonsai(dont know the adjective for it )
Tomorrow,I'm thinking to buy Acer or Buxus... I loved the juniper but there are two options here, 1.skyrocket 2.horizontalis
That oak seems very cool but hard to find it here.
Tomorrow i will look deeper and detailed. I can ask you for style advises if it is ok for you
This Bonsai seems good but im sure mine is not going to be like that, but I'm going to take a look for horizontalis, too. Im thinking to make styles as , Broom and Moyogi, maybe Fukinagashi.
Sorry, i guess the name "skyrocket" is a huge clue . I guess, going off topic a bit, a lot of stuff (here at least) from garden centers are already trained into a pom pom or just a blob on a stick and not much free growing material. This is where i but-out. Good luck with whatever you are doing .
Note: if you want a broom style, then a deciduous tree may be better?- just a thought.
Welcome back Bob
I will take a look your advice, too. I'm very confused Bob, but I want too much to make my own Bonsai. Tomorrow, I will create a new topic for your advices and guides. I will be waiting you at there and I have a little question about the pots, I wrote it to another topic
Thank you so muchh
I think I've learned something new so far. I never touched the soil until this moment. But now I know how to care a tree or plant.
