The growing time here is quit fast, new candles will be clipped on the branch tips as the branches reach the desired length.
I don't know If you can see it but there are 6 new tips growing on this branch alone.

Let me explain it for you, the way the tip, butt, or in Indonesian, Lilin= candle is used here on the ficus coreana, because it resembles the flame of a candle. The Indonesian take it easy do describe things. So I stick to the term candle, but you are welcome to address it the way you wish.
A picture added for you to make it visible why it is named here in Indonesia a candle.

What's in a name, it would be convenient if we name things the same worldwide, but apparantly we don't. I would prefer calling it a shoot, as the term candle for most people (definitely on this forum) refers to pines.

Here an update after 11 month. Will start cutting the leaves and wire him.

Thank you all, here after cutting all leaves off, I wait a few days then the leave stamps falling off, wiring and cutting will start then.
