So in my club work shop, I was surprised with a juniper to learn on, with a senior member of my club! We did some chopping after he slip potted it. NO stress tot he roots.
We removed some foliage and did some jin. Then used a torch to show some lightening effect.
In the spring, we'll do some nice shari on it!

Very nice surprise!! This juniper was picked by a senior member and nice I'm the newest, he thought we could work on it together and I could learn.
Working hands on my favorite way to learn. I'm encouraged to think that every Bonsai club is like mine.
