Looks like nice material for a small size bonsai.
I have lonicera. A big one and a tiny one, grown from seed (found it growing in a pot in which I had another tree).
They're quite easy.

First, get it settled and let it grow.

Thanks for the support! I'm a complete novice at Bonsai but am a keen horticulturist and have plant knowledge.

Well, you started so much better than the majority of posters here... and your horticultural knowledge will be a huge advantage!

Not sure if Hebe is very suitable for bonsai - the varieties I know aren't, really.
