There is info on tree species on this site I would check there. I'm not quite sure and u didn't post any pictures of the tree.

I got this plant from my sister-in-law and we were wondering how's it called. Thanks for this thread

. I also wondered if it's possible to make a bonsai out of it. Your looks very fine. We have remember though that it's not a "tree" but a "shrub"
