Yeah I know, 2 died on me already. But I think the reason was that I was a bit quick on them. They have to be developed extremely slowly compared to other species...I hope I learned my lesson. Now I will take my time with the rest of my pines, especially with the roots.
Seems I'm not having too many problems with 'm. They tolerate a lot. They tolerate me, so that must say something.
Just repotted a young tree, grown from seed, about 6 years old now. Neglected it, it was in a tiny, tiny pot that was completely filled with roots, no room left at all for anything else. Should've repotted it 2 years ago. It is still doing fine.
Best to neglect 'm a bit, I guess. Indeed go slow, don't do too much.
