TOPIC: Do any "normal" stores like hardware shops carry usable wire?

Do any "normal" stores like hardware shops carry usable wire? 1 year 2 weeks ago #49320

I'm trying to find a way to get some wire affordably. I'm in Canada.
Thanks!

They do not sell the wire that you need.

I guess you won't need that much wire though, so the amount will not be terribly high?

So, unless you happen to have a bonsai hobby shop in your area, the only place to get wire is online?

Can you recommend any specific sources online?

Canada is a pretty big place. If you are near Toronto there is a pretty decent bonsai place about three hours away in Rochester. It would be a little bit of a hike but worth seeing all the trees he has. And pots. He usually has tools and stuff in stock so there should be wire available.

International Bonsai Arboretum.

It is actually in Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester.
