I’ve been reading on using copper wire for bonsai and most folks tend to use annealed copper as opposed to regular untreated copper, mostly due to the fact that annealed copper is a easier to manipulate. Is there any problem with using standard copper wire? Reason I ask is that I have a small stash of 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm copper wire from a past non bonsai project I was hoping I could use. My only concern is that copper tends to stiffen quite a bit after being bent a few times in the same spot? Wiring not too concerning but what about removal? I’d be afraid to break branches trying to remove the stiff copper wire.
