Yes, B seems the best option... and I take a 2-step approach.
I start pruning off the big left branch inside the bend and I will let the tree grow this year.. next year I'll airlayer it and will chop the branch on the right as well.
I'll keep the progression posted.

You could also already wire up the little one in the back .

No reason why not airlayer this year once the tree kicks in :)
Once you see new extensions of about 5cm I would go for it.
