		Hi,
I just bought myself a chamaecyparis pisifera "Blue moon" from a nearby nursery. In that regard i have been trying to make it into a bonsai and have started with some pruning and wiring. But since i once bought a ficus benjamina and basically pruned everything away, i am taking it slow. So i am wondering if you would cut more branches and which, as well as any other tips for making this tree nicer
I also wonder what I should do with the apex? Currently no idea!
P.s. This is my first proper bonsai so practicing with it! I also have not cut all the wires etc. as i am taking things slow. So half is wired. Also don't have any bonsai tools, so the cuts are a bit brutal.

For sure still to many branches on the Main trunk. But still a good start. I do the same, cut a few branches each year. The tree is in a very early stage and Will need the extra foliage to grow strong.

Thank you for the feedback. Will try to do that now and give it time to grow. And then do some more pruning and changes at a later point
