I have a Jade bonsai tree that needs maintenance and I bought pruning sheers but don't have wound paste. Can I go ahead and prune with out wound paste. My tree needs a lot of help.

As a jade tree does not form wood, and does not grow over wounds like a tree would, sure prune away.
