Hello all,
I've recently picked up a small spruce tree from a nursery. As I've thought about potential styles for the tree, I've decided I quite like the shakan or slanting style. Similar to this tree

I wondered if anyone has any tips for getting that trunk shape? Is this achieved by planting the tree at an angle, wiring, a combination, or something completely different? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Its a 14 month old topic lited by a spammer. I am not sure we wll get to see the tree.
