Hi,
I've bought this Ulmus Parvifolia for just a few € about 1 month ago, when its leaves where already turning yellow and falling (1st pic… btw, I have 2 small zelkovas already and, as my balcony is rather sheltered, they stay green all year round…).
I did not like it being split in 3 (2nd pic): the two side trunks, were opening like a a hand or a fan, not in 3D, had no taper at all, despite a good and dense ramification… though I considered it a good material to work on.
So I've left the smallest, central one, which has more taper.
Now, though it's rather bare at the moment, I personally think it gives the whole tree more character.
What do you think of it?
