New Project - My first Cypress - Please help with ideas was created by Albas

Hello Forum!

Last week I bought this little Mediterranean cypress to start this little project...
It's my starting point on conifers, as I never went for pines, spruces nor cypresses...
There is a beautiful (untrained) Golden Hinoki where I bought it, but I want to learn a little bit more of conifers before buying that Hinoki! (To keep mistakes small xD)

So:
  1. It had more stalks coming from the trunk, since I want it to look like Moyogi style, I removed those branches to leave this single one as main. Do I did the right?
  2. Can that be done on Moyogi style?
  3. Should I wire it now?
  4. Any other idea, tip or advice?

It looks very happy, it's putting out some new buds and the point of the pads are growing
Is it similar to this guide? www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/hinoki

P.S. I made some cuttings out of the removed branches, that seems promising

Well, I decided to go for it... And I think it's the right time, as the trunk is getting stiff...

Any tips on the design and technique will be very appreciated!
Specially with the Nebari.
