thanks. i can post a lot of progress photos of other species that im working on, if it would be helpful to anyone.

keep in mind, that im fairly new at this. im trying to learn as much as possible, as im going along.

I'm new to the forum and to Bonsai however, I am a member of a couple of other unrelated public forums. I think you could post your photos here or in the *progression* topic page...either way they are "pruning, potting & progression" related. I'm just eager to see what you've been doing!

Wow! You're going right to town on these trees. It's really great to see the before and after pruning and the following progression. I'm completely new to this. I can see it's going to take a lot of courage to do what you just did! Whew!!! Good for you! Thanks so much for sharing. I look forward to seeing more!

Pruning the foliage SHOULD be done at the same time as the root pruning to compensate the roots removal

I'd prefer to prune first, leave the plant to recover for a week or two, and only then repot
