Change of plans!!!

I decided to email the *man of Ficus* himself, Jerry Meislik and actually got some wonderful advice specific to the Ficus Benjamina. Due to the very stressful summer *Jamina* had from heat exposure, two scale infestations, dropping most of her leaves, losing half her trunk and several small branches, I have been advised to let her grow wild over the winter and wait to prune in late Spring. In the meantime however, I can wire her. Yahoo! I will share a photo or two when I get the wiring done.

Holidays? Who said anythng about a holiday? haven't had a real one for over a year.

Been working my ^ off here. In the [un] lucky position that my employer thinks I am the best person to convince some of our foreign interest partners that they should work with us, as well as convince students in some countries that they should come and study with us. Guess that means 12 hours days, 11 days running now.

Just finished work today. Had a few hours off in Hong Kong earlier this week, and decided to do some fun stuff. Tomorrow on the plane home, and finally catch more than a few hours of sleep; resting. Thinking about clipping a branch of the 6 meter tall chinese juniperus here in front of the hotel...

Ooops... Sorry 'bout making the assumption you were on holiday, Jelle. But hey!...thanks for dropping me a line when you are sooooooo busy! Have a safe trip home and get lots of sleep, K? I sure do miss having you around on the forum!

Oh, and if you're going to "borrow" a branch off that Chinese Juniper that's growing in front of your hotel?.....make sure you wait until after dark! Hahahahahaaa

Thank you for the link...incredible stuff! I find I'm being more and more drawn to the art of Penjing; maybe because of the connection I feel with rocks, plants and water...Nature in general. Thanks for sharing.
