Welcome to the forum.

The first thing for you to decide is: Which style would you like to develop this plant in. Keep in mind it is still very young, and will require some 5 years before reachnig a state in which it will get close to becomig bonsai, if not more.

Once you know what you think would be a nice style, then we can advice you on how to go about it.

I would suggest -if this is your first tree- to go for an informal upright style, as it is close to a natural shape, and therefore easiest to get a realistic result..

The first thing to do if it is not already it get it outside. It is quite a good starter, but need to grow on for a while. I would plant it in the ground to get the trunk thickened in the shortest possible time and just let it grow taller unchecked. The branches come later.

hi thanks for yuor reply much appreciated. instead of potting it in ground ,since i dont have a gaarden i can pott it in a large pot i think, but while its groiwing ii can still continue shaping it up!

Yes you can use a large pot instead. and you can beging to think about how you might style it.Don't be in a hurry, it will be years before it is finished if ever. Bonsai is a living art, and the tree that is finished one day will not be the next

ohh yes i know what you mean be in a hurry hehe i think that it will be done right away, but i find it better trying to make one my self, all the ready ones bonsai that you find here in maltese nursers are all commercial stuff and .

If you decide on a style perhaps you can bend the trunk...trim a bit later the branches so they get some branches nearer to the trunk...But not too sure about this one.
I have one also but was told it is not too suitable for bonsai since the needles dont reduce.

ohoh i didnt know that.. cypress gold crest are suitable for bonsai?. and again thanks for yuor help
